Transport and storage

When transporting cakes, it's essential to store them flat, ideally in your car's boot.  Please clear your boot before collection to ensure a safe fit.  Keep the air conditioning on during hot days.  Drive carefully over bumps and round bends, and avoid sudden movements to prevent any damage.  Once you've reached your destination, store cake on a flat surface in a cool, dark place.  Fondant iced cakes should remain in their boxes, while buttercream cakes should be refrigerated and enjoyed within 2 to 3 days. Iced fondant cakes can last up to a week.
